Redeemio Help

Epos Now till integration

The fastest way to redeem vouchers at the till. One scan, one tap, voucher applied to the bill in Epos.

What it does

Connects your Epos Now till to your Redeemio voucher system. When a customer presents a voucher, your staff:

  1. Rings the bill as normal in Epos Now (all items, taxes, etc.).
  2. Opens the Redeemio till PWA on the same tablet (or a side device).
  3. Scans or types the voucher code.
  4. Types the Epos bill number (Transaction ID) and confirms the amount.
  5. Redeemio applies the voucher to the bill in Epos: a discount line, a voucher tender line, and (if the voucher doesn't cover the whole bill) a balance for the customer to pay in cash or card.
  6. Staff completes the bill normally in Epos. Redeemio records the redemption.

Two real-world flows

1. Voucher known before the bill

Customer tells the waiter they have a voucher at the start of the meal. Waiter rings all items, applies the voucher to the bill as above. Customer pays the remaining balance. Same flow as below, just done in a different order.

2. Voucher presented after the bill

Bill already rung. Customer says "I have a £40 voucher." Waiter opens Redeemio till PWA, scans the voucher, applies it to the existing bill. Epos Now automatically updates the bill with a discount + voucher tender line. Customer pays the remaining balance.

How the math works

The voucher amount is a simple subtraction from the bill total — no tax calculations, no splitting line items. Example:

  • Bill total: £100 (whatever items, whatever tax).
  • Voucher value: £40.
  • Redeemio applies a £40 discount and a £40 voucher tender line.
  • Customer pays the remaining £60 in cash or card.

Partial redemptions

If a customer uses a £100 voucher on a £30 bill, the voucher is partially redeemed: £30 used, £70 remaining. The voucher stays active until the balance is zero or the expiry date passes.

What you need

  • An Epos Now account (free or paid).
  • An Epos Now API key (Settings → Integrations → API in your Epos back-office).
  • One tablet or device for the Redeemio till PWA at each location (can be the same as the Epos tablet).

Setup

Once you've added the Epos integration to your plan, go to /admin → Setup, paste your Epos API key, and Redeemio walks you through the rest (product mapping, tender mapping, location mapping). The whole thing takes about 5 minutes.

Epos-led workflow (optional)

For an even faster workflow, enable the Epos webhook so your staff can apply the voucher directly on the Epos till (no need to switch to a separate Redeemio tab at the table). The voucher discount is applied on the Epos till, and Epos automatically notifies Redeemio when the bill is closed so the voucher balance is updated. See Epos webhook setup (admin) for the one-time back-office steps.
